Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has introduced fresh spirits from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's most recent Spirit Board event introduces seven Pokémon Scarlet and Violet spirits to the celebrated fighting game. This event, extending from February 9th to February 14th, features a collection of Gen 9's standout Pokémon.

Participants of the five-day extravaganza will encounter spirits of the Paldean starter Pokémon—Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly—as well as the enigmatic Paradox Pokémon, Koraidon and Miraidon, alongside Ogerpon and Terapagos from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion.

This Spirit Board event marks the third in a series of four planned for the year 2024. Entitled "Fresh New Faces!", this event comes on the heels of the year's first event, featuring characters from several popular series such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, and Pikmin 4. The preceding event, named 'Sentinels, Gods, and Baseball,' featured spirits from games like WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, and Hades.
