Genshin Impact has officially announced a new update: “When the Sakura Bloom,” and the players will meet it pretty soon. The 2.5 patch launches on the servers on February 16 and will bring with it exciting new activities.
The players will be able to enjoy the depths of Enkanomiya, a new mysterious region with its looming light tower in the distance. The update also starts the event “Three Realms Gateway Offerings,” where players can challenge themselves to dive into the darkness, trying to resist the evil corruption on their way to the light.
Genshin 2.5 offers players intriguing quests that involve the backstory of the Raiden Shogun and Yae Miko. The latter is a new character with a five stars rating. It is a lighting mage that deals quite a lot of damage and can scatter the enemies away. We will be waiting to know more about their original quest.
“When the Sakura Bloom” was presented on the official live stream, and after it, miHoYo shared some curious details about a new character making their appearance in the game’s roulette: Kamisato Ayato. This playable hero wields a water katana to fight away the enemies. Right now, there is no news on whether he’s going to be launched in the 2.5 update or the later patches.
A creative option was also added to the update: now players can create and share their own domains with traps and challenges. The company released a teaser of an upcoming new map in the Liyue region that will be featured in the 2.6 update. The 2.5 Genshin update “When the Sakura Bloom” will surely be a lot of fun, and players will be able to explore exciting challenges along with learning more about a new character.
