Hurray! EA has finally teased the series of content updates for The Sims 4! The developers shared a twit titled “Simthing to Celebrate” that includes a roadmap of updates for the next few months. As the twit says, we will see one new Game Pack, two kits, and a bunch of free content updates that will be available to everyone. Let’s take a look at the details.

What’s Coming?

As the teaser says, there will be a love theme, but we don’t know if it will be focused on weddings or Valentine’s day that will be in February. If the wedding pack appears to be true, we are going to see bachelor and bachelorette parties, a wide selection of wedding rings, and, of course, honeymoons!

As for the two upcoming kits, EA describes them as vibrant and “fierce design,” which suggests a new selection of items with unusual color swatches and patterns.

The free content pack will include some global food items. Following the recent Festive update, this may include a selection of exotic foods. Hopefully, they won’t bring food allergy moodlets along. We have also noticed a tiger on the roadmap image, which suggests new content related to the Lunar New Year celebration. Finally, we will see some new community collaboration options and a bunch of surprises that are not announced in the teaser.

Coming Soon?

The release date for the upcoming updates is still not clear, but we hope that they will come out no later than February. Maxis managed to deliver 4 full-fledged kits in just a few months at the end of 2021, so there’s no reason for new content to be delayed. And, of course, it all will be available for PC, Max, PS 4, and Xbox One. Are you waiting for the updates as much as we do? What do you expect to see? Let’s chat about it in the comments and don’t forget to share this teaser with other fans of the game.
