Despite numerous demands from users, Instagram officials deny the possibility of creating an iPad app for this social network. They say that the number of possible consumers is still too low for the app. The company made it clear via its Twitter page.

Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, has exchanged tweets with Marques Brownlee, a popular YouTuber. He confirmed that the company receives a lot of questions about the iPad version of the network. However, Mosseri says that the demand is still not big enough to do something. He did not completely deny the possibility of coming back to this question later. Meanwhile, according to him, the company is busy with other projects.

It is not the first time Mosseri makes comments about the iPad version of the app. Previously, he already shared his views on the iPad. He explained the lack of the app by the lack of team members who would develop the new version.

Although there is no iPad version of the app officially, you still can use the app created for iPhone for your iPadOS 15 system. Many users already view Instagram’s iPhone version via the iPad. You can do it as well since iPad owners can easily use apps made for iPhones just in landscape mode. You don’t have to wait until Instagram has finally come up with the specific app for your device.

The social network was launched 11 years ago. Since that time it continues to provide a wide range of features to its users. However, there is no iPad version of the app among them. It has versions for Android, iOS, Instagram Lite, and the web. If you don’t want to use landscape mode, you can always open the app in the web interface. Meanwhile, Instagram is busy working on the possibilities for businesses and extra security.
