Smelting your items into iron ingots can be a time-consuming process in Minecraft, but with the right tools and know-how, you can get it done much faster. Creating a blast furnace is the first step towards being able to smelt your gear quickly and easily – so let’s get started!

Step 1: Find or Craft a Furnace

The first step towards creating your own blast furnace is finding or crafting a normal furnace. You can find these furnaces in villages inside armourer houses. If there isn’t an armourer villager already using one as their job site block, then any villager can change their profession to armourer. Alternatively, you can craft one yourself by using eight pieces of Cobblestone in the crafting grid.

Step 2: Gather Your Materials

Once you have your furnace ready, it’s time to gather all of the materials necessary for making a blast furnace. You will need four pieces of Iron Ingot and three pieces of Smooth Stone (which is made from smelting regular stone). Place these items into your inventory, and you’re ready for the next step!

Step 3: Constructing Your Blast Furnace

Now that you have all of your materials gathered together, it’s time to construct your blast furnace! Open up the Crafting Table menu and place four Iron Ingots around the edges like so: The center should contain three Smooth Stones arranged like this: Once this is done correctly, take out your newly crafted Blast Furnace from the Crafting Table menu and place it anywhere on solid ground where there are no other blocks nearby (or else it won't work).

Step 4: Using Your New Blast Furnace

Your new blast furnace is now ready for use! Simply add fuel such as coal or charcoal into its bottom slot (this will keep burning while smelting), add ore into its top slot (such as iron ore), and wait until it has finished smelting before taking out what has been produced from its output slot on the side. This new machine will finish smelting at double speed compared to normal furnaces - perfect if you want things done quickly!

Congratulations – You Now Know How To Make A Blast Furnace In Minecraft

Creating a blast furnace in Minecraft may seem daunting at first but with our guide above, we hope that we've made this task easier for everyone involved. With this new tool under your belt, nothing should stand between you and those shiny iron ingots anymore - happy crafting, everyone!
