Security and privacy of the connection are highly important when you use the Internet. For this reason, Google decided to inform the users of Chrome about all the different security-related tools in the browser.

Thanks to the introduction of this Privacy Guide, users would be able to see how different settings affect their online security. The new feature will roll out to all users of Chrome desktop so that everyone can learn about privacy implications and the advantages of settings in the browser. With the help of the new guide, users will be able to achieve the highest level of safety on their devices and also know how to control cookies. According to the team, they may introduce even more settings once they get feedback.

The Privacy Guide is supposed to appear in the next few weeks and will be available in the Security and Privacy tab of the browser. If you want to access this information, you should click on the three dots in the right corner of your browser interface. Then, you should go to Settings, choose Security and Privacy, and the new guide can be viewed there.

At the beginning of 2022, there appeared a new Journeys feature in the web version of Chrome. With its help, it is possible to open topics that you have looked for before. With the help of this tool, you can avoid manually searching for pages that you have opened before. You can organize your browsing history, so it’s a lot easier to find all the pages you need again. Users can enable Journeys by going to the History page of the browser. Or, it is enough to enter a word related to the topic in the address bar. When you do this, you will get a ‘Resume your research’ variant and there will be a list of websites that you visited previously.

Do you use Chrome or another browser on a daily basis? What do you think about this upcoming feature?
