A renowned publisher has set the stage for a fresh experience in the realm of interactive crime mysteries with a new announcement that has captured gamers’ attention.

The latest project from a well-known developer is an asymmetrical action game designed by a creative studio. In this experience, one side takes on the role of elusive perpetrators called Wolfs, while the opposing team plays as survivors known as Lambs. The twist is that the true identities of the miscreants are kept secret throughout the game.

This title diverges from typical social deduction games by emphasizing real-time action. Players are driven by a strong desire to avoid harm, and they must utilize various defenses while they investigate and piece together clues. Making the wrong assumption carries heavy consequences that can abruptly end one’s journey in the game.

Players have access to an extensive selection of tactical options, including:

  • Upgrading equipment
  • Appropriating resources from opponents
  • Deploying strategic traps
  • Exploring many other creative methods

There is also a diverse roster of more than 20 characters, each offering unique abilities. For example, one may choose a sharp-shooting cowgirl, another an enthusiast skilled at uncovering important hints, a stealthy character with an aptitude for acquiring items, or a rugged seafarer with a measure of resistance to toxins.

A player assuming the role of a perpetrator must meticulously erase any vestiges of their actions and maintain a convincing demeanor when meeting others in a common lobby area where confrontation is not allowed. In this arena, the clues left behind by those who suffer the consequences help the opposing team piece together the true story.

On the other side, survivors must work together to outmatch the covert perpetrators and secure their escape—a task that proves much more challenging than it initially appears.

The game has been announced exclusively for personal computers, with an early beta version slated for availability on a popular digital distribution platform in the near future.
